Just windering how much would it cost me to get my poewer window set back in to place. Right now it seems to be off the tracks and it wont close properly. Thanx 2001 Grand am GT

You might be able to do it yourself. You would have to take off the interior door panel (not very difficult). After that you will have to look to see if it has just "popped" off track or if there is something else going on. I have done it in the past myself, it saves alot of $$$ if you can do it. I can get into a little more detail if interested.

when i helped my dad/ his blazer just becareful if ou have a plastic door panel. you do not want to break it

Generally, your window is held in place by two clips on the channel the window rests on, [window riser channel]. It a flat grooved bar, horizontal to plane, the clips may be broken or losse, allowing the glass to wander.
Simply put, as Hoags states, you have to pull the interior door panel off, it not very hard to do, first to examine the riser channel.

thanks guys for the input it is very helpfull. I looked at the panel...and decided to figure out where the plastic clips are lcated ..everyone i spoke too told me the same thing dont break em or or your panel will be loose. Anyways ..still gonna try to do it myself just gonna take more time and do it carefully. Thanx
