:2cents: IMHO: 24 - 28 MPG for city is normal. Depends on driving habits, stop and go, vehicle maintenance, load, etc.

It depends more where you live, and when you have to travel

If you live in NewYork and have to travel during the rush hour your mileage would be really bad

Or if you live in a city where you can pretty well just drive the speed limit without stopping you should get almost highway milage.

It's often smart for people to leave for work or school a 1/2 hour early, and leave for back home 10 min early... or work late and go home after the traffic
