I am looking to possibly purchase a powerstroke Diesel to pull a race trailer with. I have always been a chevy/Gm man so I don't know much about them. I was wanting to find a crewcab f-250 or 350 for under $10,000. What is the differences in the trucks, engines, tranny's etc. for the early 90's through the late 90's? Are there any certain years to stay away from? What is the fuel mileage like for the powerstroke?

Thanks in advance.

I suggest you not get anything older than a 1995, because the older engines are no where as good, or powerful, and actually have more problems that the newer ones.
