where are the spark plugs and wires?

Under that black plastic cover between the cams. YOu must remove the air intake pipe to access that.
Leave that alone unless you have a lot of sputter!
Changing the plugs is a serious operation and can result in unexpected problems if not ready for it. However, if you have oil leaking from the valve covers and some has intruded that area, this is something to consider.
The 2 coil packs are fragile items. Honest, I have had mine for 2 years now, and no desire to go there. WHen needed, I'll do it. SOme - several - have removed the plugs just to come with the threads from the aluminum head (if they had been inserted the last time without anti-seize compound)...
