Good GOd when will it end!?

Just heard, a refinery in Texas blew up today. I guess gas will soon be over $3 a gallon now! The station down the block from work on monday, $2.05, today $2.27, a .22 a gallon jump in less than 48 hours. I hate OPEC, and those cheesy jerks who keep raising the price for crude in the stock market.

Heres a poll for you, where do you think the price will get to before our uncle steps in and puts a cap on it?

I have a friend who owns a local gas station here in NC where I live,He said he heard from a reliable source that regular 87 octane will go up to $2.80 per gal. before the price stops rising.I run 93 in my Vic so I'll be paying a little over $3.00 a gal. here in just a few months time.With those prices I definatly won't be getting to drive as much,and I can only imagine how much the 115 octane I use when I go to the track will go up to.Really Blows :(

It's really sad when you feel giddy about getting gas for $2.07!
