I4 Header install DIY

This DIY is for the aftermarket i4 header installation.
Here we go.
1st: Disconnect the battery. The ECU will be reset once you finish the install and hook the battery back up.

2nd: You will need the headers. lol

3rd: Take this ugly thing off by removing the 4 screws.

4th: You should have something like this.

5th: Start removing the 9 nuts that hold the header in place. Its a pain to get to the one nut on the far left. Keep trying. Dont forget, you have 2 nuts at the bottom to remove.
After you finish, you should have this.

6th: You have to disconnect this part.

7th: Unscrew the other end

8th: You schould have this.

9th: This piece should fit right onto the new header. Something like this.

10th: I had trouble with this one. The headers that I got didnt come with the screws for some reason. The screws on the OEM header cant be removed. Only the 2 nuts can be.

1th: SO, I went to Home Depot and bought 2 screws that match the nuts. Look in the pic.

12th: Put the new header in place.

13th: Start puting on the nuts back.

14th: Dont forget the bottom ones.

16th: Should look something like this.

15: Next is putting this piece back.

Connect the battery back.
16th: You are done.
