ROFL. The best part: "Witnesses also reported that the driver jumped down from the vehicle and ran to catch a bus prior to the arrival of Engine 2 and the Harris County Sheriff's Department."
That's insane how tough those wires are. Every winter around my area we get freezing rain and power lines go down all the time, yet they can support a car...nuts.

Well one thing that nobady said is how the hell did that car get 15feet in the air? lol

There is a support wire that is at an angle and is blted to the ground (almost a 45 degree angle). So the kid went off the road and the car ramped up the wire and flew up to the wires over head and got hung up. So pretty much he drove up a wire ramp and shot up there, it's all in the article.

I don't understand how the ground cable supported the car instead of collapsing...but whatever.

lol..is that for real? how the hell did he get up there? :eek7:

edit: I just read the post saying he got up by ramping off a wire.. that is just hard to beleive..but I've seen some crazy stuff before so.. I guess it's possible.

sounds fake. him launching that high in the air from that wire sounds alittle fishy. and the telephone pole wires supporting hte weight of a car, adn the pole itself supporting the weight. and the wheel supporting the weight of the entire car.

if its true, i never knew any of those things are that strong.

Yeah seems kinda fake. My friend barely ran into one of those guide wires with his sol and it snapped so fast.
