vg30dett

does anyone know if it's possible to get a vg30dett into a maxima? if it does fit, how much work do u think needs to b done, also what do u guys think some good mods would b for the vg30et?

Nope. Just like the RB26DETT won't fit.

Hold on a second there. I don't see why it wouldn't fit, since the 3rd gen used the VG30DE. I bet it would. Check www.maxima.org, they'll be able to say for sure there.

VG30DETT is from the 300ZX....Set up for RWD. the VG30 from the Max is set up for FWD. It even says on the .ORG that the turbo Components from the DETT won't work on the FWD engine.

yeah, i went to them, they say it wont fit, i had been hoping that i could turn a dett sideways and bold up to a de trans, cause the z-guys already told me that the trans for de and dett match, but for now i dont think im ganna mess with trying to do the dett, but i would like to know if any of u have adive for what to do to a vg30et? ive already got that done, and i'm trying to decide what to do next
