hey all, just got my tucson last week! In short, its an awesome car actually (I'm a student, so I was naive and used to driving the parents escalade, I wasnt looking forward to cruisin around in a hyundai. But, just a week into it I love it. ). Anywho, I'm interested in modifying it a little, including induction kits, intake etc. Anything that will make it sound awesome :)

I installed some coolblue headlights last night! my first DIY job :p so that pretty much explains my level of car knowledge, but I'm a quick learner and essentially wanna learn the car inside-out. Does anyone know where I can get some engine manuals, or just facts about what I should get to make it sound good and maybe give'r a little more power(handicap: nothing too pricy ;)) Sorry for the broad question, but right now I'm pretty much open for anything.

Welcome to the Tuscon section.

Being that the Tuscon is brand new to the market, I doubt that there will be any aftermarket items that might help you. Maybe in a year or so. It was like that for the Santa Fe and even after 5 years on the market that model doesn't have that many aftermarket stuff.

BTE, I noticed that in your profileyou list the ASton Martin. What made you switch from driving the Aston Martin to the Escalade to the Tuscon?

yeah, about the only thing you can find for the tuscon right now is the dress up items, window visors, brush guards, chrome trim pieces. there is really nothing yet for performance wise yet. It will probably be fall if not 2006 before any other kind of upgrade options are available.
