95 GMC Jimmy with 4.3L Vortec. Always started within a second or two of turning the key. A month ago it started taking two to four seconds of cranking to start, and then ran fine. In the last two weeks it has only rained twice. 1st morning it rained the car went about 2 miles and died. It would crank fine but not start, not even sputter. 45 minutes later it started and almost made it back home and died. Again it cranked OK but would not start. An hour later it started and made it home. For the next two weeks we've had no rain. The Jimmy ran fine except for not starting right away. This morning it's raining again and the Jimmy made it 2 miles down the road and quit. 35 minutes later it started and made it half way home and died. 10 minutes later it started up and made it home. I replaced the fuel filter last week. Any ideas?

Seems like a lot of people asking questions in the wrong forum these days.

Have you ever done a tuneup?
