Bird Poo.....

The other day a brid crapped right in the middle of the bonnet (Hood) the bloody thing must have had a curry the night before there was alot of it, if I didnt know better I`d have said an elephant had flown overhead. Anyhow, I washed it off, still a stain, T-cut, no stain but a dull patch, megs 3 stage wax, still a dull patch. What can I use to remove this dull patch as it looks like the bird poo has eaten its way through the clear coat, its rough when you run your finger over it despite the layers of t-cut and wax etc Any help much appreciated. You're right in that the paint is etched, without seeing it and feeling it myself I can't recommend a remedy but any remedy will not restore it 100% short of a re-paint.

Do you have a polisher?

If so you may need to use a mild abrasive to polish out the hazing. Seek out a professional detailer and see what they recommend.
