400000 Ks

i finally put my 91 chevy over 400,000 ks and she still goes strong
i thought this would be a good first post
how many others are past 400,000 ks??

hmmm...thats about 250,000 thousand miles right. My 86 4x4 is at about 220,000. and those are damn hard miles.

I got a 1979 C20 with over 500,000. It's completley original only the 14 bolt limited slip rear diff. has been replaced. It rattles, squeaks, burns oil (not a lot for a 454) blows smoke when I gas it hard,sounds like crap due to the cracked exhaust manifolds. But it has never left me or the previous owner walking and starts right up every time.Oh and thats miles not kilometers.

Hi,love to hear about someone getting good mileage out of there chevy truck.A coworker of mine has a chevy k1500 w/ 349,+++ miles (I know because I changed the oil on it today)still runs strong uses no oil between changes.20/50 castrol.I once put brakes on a 89 silverado that showed 625,+++ on the odometer no b/s.I dont know any history on it but its the most miles I've ever seen on an odometer IIIIIMPRESSIVE!!!
