intercooler mounting question...

i just picked up a FMIC 24x12x3 from end to end its 31x12x3...has anyone ever mounted them on a 4g civic...what did you have to do to make it fit...did you have to cut or remove the bumper support...and does it help if i have a wings west front bumper..thanks in advance...

I had a 9" tall intercooler on my hatch and i had to all but remove the bumper support.

mines around 10" tall as well, i'm just gonna mod the front bumper so the openings bigger

yes i have a garret t3/t4 turbo with a .60 a/r and a .63 compression housing...i'm just new to boost...

You can always take out the A/c, and use an aftermarket radio. Thats how i fabbed mine up to fit

thats what i was thinking....but i think he means that if you take out the a/c inside the car you can add a dvd screen or something....but i was talking about a front mount intercooler...and i won't be able to have a/c because of how my downpipe is going...
