Is my oil pressure too high?

I searched the forum and couldn't find this problem addressed.
I have a 1995 blazer, 4.3L V6 4-dr 4X4
My oil gauge reads 70 when cold, 60 when warm. I also have a leak in the front oil cooler line to radiator. I replaced both sets of oil lines about 3 years ago. Is it common for the lines to only last 3 years?
I was told by my car dealer that the oil sender was probably bad, causing the high readings. Could the readings be accurate? And could this be the cause of my lines leaking again? It is a very small leak (one drop), and doesn't happen every day.
I am thinking maybe the oil bypass valve isn't working correctly?
Is there a way to check the actual pressure? And where exactly is the sender? My manual says the top left near the distributor, but I don't see it.
Thanks

it threads into the top of the block, behind the intake manifold, where the back inside corner of the driver-side head meets the block. It is 1/8" npt thread so you can adapt fittings to put a pressure gauge on to read the actual pressure. Then compare this to the dashboard gauge.

When are these pressure reading being taken?
Idle? Driving?

Is you engine getting up to temperature?
The temperature should be on or two ticks to the left of the 1/2 mark when the engine is warmed up.

I would consider adding a bottle of engine flush to the oil and idle it for 30 minutes before you next oil change to dissolve any restriction in your oil system.

Engine warm
Idle 35-40
Highway 60
This did help. Hopefully enough that the hoses will not leak anymore.
Couldn't tell the fresh oil from the 3000 mile oil after the cleaner was used. Truck smoked alot while running the cleaner, too. First time I did this. Truck has 83,000 miles.
Still can't find the oil sender sensor. Should I be looking from the top or bottom of engine? Is it between the engine and the firewall?
