My 95 Olds Aurora is having a problem where the Throttle Positioning Sensor get stuck if you press on the gas too much. If you floor the gas, the TPS sensor flips over inside where the TPS sensor connects to the throttle body and then the idle won't go under around 2500 RPMs. Then if you drive the car for a while, then it will flip back over and the car will go down to the normal 500 to 700 RPMs.
I am selling this car right now and the buyer gave me a $200 deposit but said this had to be fixed before he bought it. I don't have a clue why it's happening. But I need to get this fixed ASAP so I can get it to the buyer!!
