Intake problem

The problem im having in my Pontiac Grand AM 6V 3.1: is i took my intake apart, and i found my lifter guide broken, also there was those valve followers or something like that, and there was 3 longer and 3 short followers, and i want to know the order ur supposed to put them in because the 2nd distributing valve was lose, and i tried to play around with the valve followers so they could all fit, but it doesnt seem to work, and there is also G & Y indicators on the lifter guides, maybe they stand for something. HELP PLEASE!!!
