interference or non-interference engine

Can anyone tell me if a 454 from a 78 'burb is a non-interference engine? I'm going to look at one tomorrow with a broken timing chain (the owner thinks) and just wondering how extensive the damage might be.

Most of the older ones were not interference type engines. However, if it has a bigger cam, higher ratio rocker arms, or a planed deck or heads, it could have turned into one.
