Today we were running a horn button for our 1992 Buick LeSabre. While in the process the wire arced and now the radio doesnt work. Neither does the climate control panel. The buttons on the climate control panel light up but the display doesnt. You can feel the cold air in the vents but it is not blowing out. We have check all 3 fused panels. The one on the drivers side, passangers side, and the Maxi fuse panel under the hood. We cant come up with anything. Suggestions?

Where exactly were you working when you arced a wire. What wire? What exactly was it hooked to? What state of disassembly? What color wire, and size of wire? What other things is this wire hooked to if you follow it?

I imagine you have created an open in a power wire that feeds all affected systems. Look for a burnt wire, or burnt insulation. Look at wires that feed the affected systems.

Under the dash to the right of the steering column is a large wire connector which connects all the dash wires to all the dash components (you can separate this connector and then remove the dash without unhooking any other wires, save the antenna, and the rear speaker connectors).

To check for something obvious, see if the black wires in this connector have continuity to ground. Also, there is a thicker wire in this harness that is orange in color. Looking at the harness after removing it (the one going to the dash, not to the engine compartment. It will be the one closest to you when you remove it.) Counting wire spots from the bottom (opposite the plastic nubs that stick out of the left and right side at the top), the thick orange wire is in the third column from the right, and in the sixth row from the bottom. This orange wire needs to have 12 volts when the blower motor is turned on (the fan as it were). If it does not, it is a beginning of a clue as to where to look.

Beyond that I don't know without knowing more.
