The two best NA exhausts IMHO are the type r (with the bottle neck removed) and the HKS. Both are not too raspy, yet give the car a nice throaty sound. For sleeper/clean looks, I definitely say type R.

sry for the stupid question, but what is NA, IMHO, and what is a bottle neck.

NA means Naturally aspirated (engines that are not using forced induction, ex. no turbocharger, or supercharger). IMHO means "In My Humble Opinion". Bottle neck means a place where something is restricting the flow. Most commonly used in talking about exhaust systems. A bottleneck in an exhaust system means that a place where the piping is not as large as the other parts, causing the gasses to slow down at that point, and be restricted, which in turn slows down the rest of the exhaust after it.

Hope this info helps ;)

And I know, I know I promised a How to on it but I have been so busy at work for the past year I have had no time to do it, but I will have one up very soon. ;)

For a GSR, would the ITR exhaust be an upgrade? Do you know what the stock piping size is on the GSR? If it is an upgrade, is it a direct bolt-on? I'm really looking for that sleeper look, because I don't want to attract attention of police or even the fact that my car is modified, so people will not screw with me all the time. Even in my stockish outside form, I get messed with all the time by other imports, and so many damn mustangs. Around here they are abundant... lotta money here, so they are mostly GT's and Cobra's, which I can only seriously compete with if there are corners, then I have a little fun ;) Anyway, lemme know where you can get an ITR exhaust also, I've not had any luck finding a stock one yet.

If you look at the pics in the link I put in my previous post you can see the difference in the stock vs ITR exhaust pipes. The GSR and LS share the same size exhaust pipe. ;)
