99 Beetle glove box latch broken

I have purchased a 99 New Beetle for my daughter. It needs the glove box latch replaced. I understand I will have to buy a whole panel for the glove box. How do I remove/replace the glove box panel and how do I remove/replace the lock. I understand I am supposed to reuse the lock.
