ok i am thinking of putting a lcd screen in my dash (take out passanger airbag and insert screen) and setting the ps2 on a slide out tray from glove box (ps2 slip needs to be pull out shelf to allow for lid to open and for acess) the glove box will be stuffed with fans to keep the screen and ps2 cool and am wondering if i can connect the 2 together or not, if it needs a special connector (this is just a screen no frame no cover, no plugins)
i mainly got the idea from a guy at work that owns a pontiac fiero GT and is putting a complete computer harddrive, dvd drive, and a 15" monitor into his dash, just so he can store more mp3's for his stereo. and is going to be using the computer for other things (he is acually thinking of including a wireless router and setting it up to run with his home computer!!

It may be difficult to just rip the monitor out of a laptop and install it in your car, the laptop has a graphics card to run it. Why would you wanna put a wireless router module in your car ? It is only good for maybe 100 yards at most from the house.

Easiest thing to do would be look for a screen that comes with the A/V interface either on it...or with it. Trying to rig it up yourself is considerably more work. peace

u could get monitors on ebay for like 120, and a power inverter for the ps2. if u have a audio input on ur head unit u could hook up sound through that. thats what im doin.or u could get a visor monitor and save ur airbag. that would be better.
