can someone help with my 93 eclipse

Yesterday I bought a 93 eclipse and while driveing it home after 20 miles -it- st-arted to act up and would only idle ,
If i push on the gas it will cut out.
Today I changed out the fuel filter and the plugs cap rotter and wires.
If the car sits for a while it will run fine for about one mile then it does it again .... Help Please ([email protected])-
