Ignition Module?

Over the course over the winter, my car would have mood swings. Usually in extremely cold or snowy weather it would not start and then later it would. The key would turn over and it would make noise, it would act like it wanted to start but just wouldn't. I took my car in to get it fixed and they told me, the ignition module needed to be fixed. I paid $500.00 for it. Two weeks later my check engine light was coming on and it was raining and I drove over a puddle and it was acting funny for a couple of minutes. I tried to start it Saturday and it wouldn't start. It had rained and it was being funny again. Sunday and Monday so far it has been fine. I just got an oil change. I don't know if I should take my car back to the place or if they even know what they are doing. The first time I took it there they couldn't even find anything wrong. The only thing they fixed right was the horn. What's wrong with my little Cavi?

this is a longshot but possibly clogged injector or fuel system? if the car turns over and it's not having starter issues maybe it's not getting enough fuel though I can't explain the weather aspect to your problem. hopefully someone has an idea.
