i need help on something anyone please help me

i went to get a sticker for my blazer and i didnt pass because cause of a p0785 shift/timing sol malf can someone tell me what it is and how can i fix it the truck is slow of the start some time but not all the times when i first start its it runs great takes off nice but when it warms up it takes of really slow i was reading other answers on here and everyone said it was the ignition switch my ignition is broke i can start it without useing the key could that be the reason please help me out guys

1.) Replace the ignition switch module.

2.) Have your transmission flushed and refilled with a new tranny filter installed.

ok i did wat u told me still running sluggish and now i need help on that and can someone tell me why my brake lights and turn signals keep blowing fuses not the bulbs i change the fuses and they last for like 3 days then all of a sudden blow can someone tell me why

The reason the fuse blows is because there is a short to ground in the wire that goes between to brake light bulbs and the turn signal switch or the trailer harness is shorted.

had the same problem, wasn't the ignition switch, it was the Shifting solenoid A, which is a thirty dollar part (AT THE DEALER). I got it installed and everything at the dealer, took them 10 minutes.

maybe it is the switch though, if the SES light did not go off, you need to hook up a diagnostics reader and clear the codes first. if the same code comes back up again, then I would take it to replace the A solenoid.

thanks man i figured it was that because i got it checked today thanx for the info but now the truck wont start could it be the fuel pump its not makeing any sounds like a buzzing noise

i have another ? i need help on something else i put the new feul pump in and now my fuel gauge stays all the way to the right saying its full all the time its stuck there for some odd reason can someone tell me y its doing this

Sounds like you bent the float arm on the sending unit when you put it back in

i checked that out and everythings fine i got it checked out and they sed some kind of module do u know what that module would be

Truck wont start and gas guage staying on full? Sounds like an electrical problem on re-install. Do you hear the pump prime when you turn the key on?

Hey diddy0071 - you said you changed Shift Solenoid A... You sure it was bad? I had the same DTC - P0753, but it wasn't broke...
