Tempurature Gauge not working

I have a 2001 Aztec. The tempurature gauge, just recently stopped working and the "Service Engine Soon" light has come on. I have taken it to a local store and had the code read. It says that the coolant is below normal temp. I have heat in the car, so I don't think it is the thermostat, and I have changed the tempurature sensor. Still is not working and the "error" light is on. Was wondering if anyone had a wiring diagram for this vehichle, I can't seem to find a car book for it. Any help would be Great!
