Wind noise and leak in Drivers window

I drive a '98 Chevy Blazer, and I've been having problems with constant wind noise coming from my driver's side window. Also, when sometimes when it rains water drops varying in volume come through as well. The area where all this is occuring is the front door frame between the front windshield and where the door frame closes. When I pull in on the door frame it cuts down dramatically the wind noise, but when I pull on the door handle nothing changes. I've thought it must be the weather stripping but am not sure, anyone else have any thoughts?

Simply replace the weather stripping. That should cure it.. I would also check your door hinge pins and bushings

I had the same trouble with my truck, and it killed the power mirror switch with dripping rain. Door pins, latch and weather strip were in good condition, but the frame the window rolls up into was slightly bent outward, by about a 1/4 inch. I grasped the door where it was visibly farther away from the seal and just gave it a little tug while pushing out with the other hand against the middle of the door. She seals tight now! The same trick works for your refrigerator. ;)

Sounds like the seal is not sealing properly probably because the door pins and bushings are worn and the door is not shutting squarely.

Can I get the door pins and bushings from any local parts store?

I would reccomend getting the pins at a local gm dealer. The reason being is that a lot of parts stores list the wrong ones. At the dealer they will maybe be a dollar more than the parts store, but it's well worth the piece of mind.

Get them from thedealer and make sure once you install them that you grease them every oil change.

I had the same problem with an '00 Blazer, Your door pins and bushings need to be replaced. I bet they havent been lubbed since you have had it have they. Also, if you have pin-stripping on your doors I bet they are not aligned due to the bad pins.
Chevy dealer has the pins and bushings in stock, and another 1 or 2 labor should fix you up.

whats a good product to remove the old two-way tape which held on the old weather stripping around the top of my front doors? My weather stripping is shot on my 95' blazer and I plan on replacing it this week. Thanks.
