MR2 Turbo Pricing

I'm just curious, there is a 93 turbo MR2 around my area with 39,000 miles going for $14,400. I don't really plan on buying it since it's kinda expensive, but just wondering what a fair price for the car would be. The Blue book value for private party sales is something like $6000.

MR2s, especially the turbos, are pretty rare.
Considering that a lot of them have been beat up, the used prices have soared.

If you find a low mileage turbo MR2, they are going for healthy $$.
If it is a 93, even more.
If it is a 94/95 it will be even higher.

$14K seems a bit high, but I have no doubt that car would sell for $12,500 or more.

Yah, supposedly the car is in Mint condition, I haven't seen it my self so I don't really know. If I hadn't of just bought a car I'd be looking at this probably.

blue book is irrelevant with mr2s. a 93 3s with low miles (under 100k) and "mint" cond will fetch 10k easy. under 40k miles is almost obsolete, so 14k is not bad. Also, if the car is sunroof or hardtop,or a rarer color, those are also considerations... A 91 3s hardtop with under 100k miles can also fetch 10k. A 91 3s SMG (any top) with under 100k can ALSO fetch around 9k... just depends. In canada, 91s are sold regularily for 15k.
