Nice to see another Honda builder here. Isn't that Mike G's EG6? Good start to the model. I know of another modeller on Honda-Tech that showed me his work and was also trying to replicate the same car. Keep up the good work!

PS: Be very careful with those pillars especially when you're polishing. That's when you don't realize it and SNAP (I have had my share of A-Pillars snap on me)

Damn, you keep finding the cool colors;) Dupli Color makes that right? Are you going to get the Fujimi Spoon's and paint them white to copy the Regamaster's?

Ask and you shall have...I have a set I can donate to the AF Honda Modeller Fund...hit me up I think we can work out something for them. What good is a replica without the right wheels?

hey imola, the only bad thing about those paints is that they are water based, so if you try to do carbon hoods and stuff the paint will try to come off some, so i had to clear coat it up to 1 wet coat before i did the carbon stuff, and then i finished clear coating, those colors work excellent with automotive clear coats, it says on the back

True True, I actually like Createx for that. Their paints are water based and don't stink :) But I see what you mean and its definitely something to look out for;) Good lookin'

glad the wheels got out to you. IMO, you should take a drill bit that is the same size as the center cap and countersink it a bit (don't drill through, just drill it a bit) and paint it black to give it that true look and paint the lug nuts. Looks good so far!

i did think of that, but if mistake were to happen i would be so mad lol
you know how accidents happen when you try to do something at last minute and then you get like another week of fixin' :grinno:

Yea! I did that on my Spoon's for my Integra I am building on the side. Though i drilled the whole centercap:) Spoons look better without centercaps;)

spoons are the ones that look like rota slipstreams right? the straight 5 spokes that are flat black and extremely light weight 15inchers.

Um, the Rota Slipstreams look like Spoon SW388s. Spoon makes the real, ultralight, ultraexpensive version. There's a difference.

I could've sworn I already replied to this thread - I love this car! The OD is OG... haha! I am so lame. Great freakin' model though! There's a hot green Civic trend right now that I just love. And making a model of a real car is, like has been said already, freakin' hot. Great work! Beautiful build quality, too!
