What street racing game should I get

What street racing game should I get? Tell me which is better Tokyo extreme racer:zero or midnight club!Thanks.:sun:

The only game that I haven't played that you listed is Tokyo Extreme Racer.

If you want a good racing game I would get Gran Turismo 3. I don't really consider GTA3 a racing game, but it is a really good game nevertheless and will keep you busy for weeks.

I wouldn't get Midnight Club, because I was able to beat it in one weekend.

I vote for that game because if you want a street racing game it's the best one. GT3 and GTA2 are not even street racing games.

If you want real street racing , with realism etc get Tokyo Xtreme racer , you can mod cars (yeah aerodynamics, stickers and large exhaust pipes are there too :p ) And race at night... Basically you cruise around at night , and when you see a potential rival , you high beam him and if he doesn't reject the battle then you're off and race... Then some club leaders challenge you etc.

It's for PS2... I don't know about the storyline much since i have the jap version , but it's really hard after you beat the first guys and you have to get used to driving the other way round (in japan cars are rhd , you pass on the right lane , etc, you get the thing ,and it;s the same in the game) , also there is normal traffic , trucks , cars etc. That can be a real pain in the ass... But if you have PS2 and are into street racing , or even cars at all (and since you're on this forums , i think you are) be sure to get it...

I think you can get it at any major video game store. I have seen them over here in the states.

I haven't bought it. I have seen it in stores like Wal Mart and, Kay Bee, and Best Buy.

I havent' played Tokyo XR 0 but Midnight Club isn't that good, not realistic at all, it's more of an arcade style game. It's still kinda fun, but I'm a hardcore realism junkie when it comes to driving games.

Yeah i don't like midnight club that much too... But in Tokyo XR 0 you mostly race on highways , not on streets etc. They could add more city sections , i mean real downtown etc.

ive played em all, and for a real street racer game Tokyo is the only choice, Midnght club looked like a bad comic book to me, and GTA2 is by no means a street racer, or racing game at all, but loads of fun.

GT3, by far the best game overall to date, should be on everyone's PS2 list.

but tokyo is the way to go, allthough once you get into the game it is very monotonous.

tokyo was more like the real thing i guess.. although wasnt very fun

Go with GT3. Toyko Extreme Racer Zero gets old fast. However, I'd pick GT2 over 3. More cars...
