The following is from MN-12 Performance, Inc (http://www.mn12performance.com/).
History of the 5.0L exhaust system 1991-1993:
During the short 3 year production run of the 5.0L cars the exhaust manifolds and cat-back system never changed. These cars were only available with an automatic transmission and used the 3-way catalytic converter system with 8" resonator.

I HEARD YOU HAD TO REPLACE GAS TANK FOR FLOWMASTER EXHAUST. IS THIS TRUE OR DOES ANYBODY HAVE A ALTERNATIVE. I WAS LOOKING FOR THE MUSTANG GT EXHAUST SOUND. THANKS.
