1973 Mercury Cougar ("The Cat")

Here is the AMT Re-issue of the 70's MPC issue of the 1973 Mercury Cougar XR7. It uses the exact same mold from the 70's, so everything is a little dated. And lacks much detail (No radiator hoses, no sticker for the intake...) It cool though, ti comes with a little plaque that says "Street Is Neat" and still has the MPC logo on it. I decided to built it stock, gold with a black vynal top, with white letter tires. I wanted it to look like one of "those" cars. The kinda car where some average schmoe is driving it, doesnt know the difference between a crankshaft and a camshaft, but you, a car enthusiast wants this car, to save it from its neglect. We've all been in that situation before, huh?

I weathered it up pretty bad, scuffed the paint up, dulled it, gave it the raised white letter BFG Radials, and added on a chrome air cleaner/intake from a 390 Galaxy.

Good to see one of these being built!!:) I started mine but lost interest in it.
