Japan has imposed strict rules on emission control. That is the reason why most manufacturers opt for NA cars. Look at the 350Z, non turbocharged. The new skyline, non turbocharged. Gone are the hay days of turbocharged cars.

well the new nissan skyline set to come out in 2007 will have a destroked VQ35DE(3.5L) called a VQ30DETT(3.0L) running twin turbos and a 450hp on tap with the Attesa ETS Pro all wheel drive system. These cars will send the GTO back to GM crying.

Does anyone know the price on that new Skyline?? Is it comming to the US? All i can say now is GO NISSAN they have found what the people want. The 16-30 year olds want sports cars and the 30-45 year olds dont want granny mobiles but thats all i feel that all car makers are trying to make, and i pretty sure that it has something to do with the EPA. I know its good the help the enviroment but dont take away what the people want ...... *SIGH*

it will be here in 2007 probably costing upward of 60,000 seeing how the 350Z cost 30,000 and all.

IT would be nice to offer a true low cost sports car that could be offered in both NA & Turbo forms...

Yeah, we need another real Turbocharged sports car for under $30,000. Everyone is mentioning the Skyline, but it's twice as much. Part of the problem is that SUVs and trucks are getting to be way too fast, with those HEMI engines, and many sports cars from the 90s can't match their power, so people are buying those instead.

lets talk honda for a bit ehh? honda and acura still havent gottne anything turbo yet they continue to compete in a very competitive market. i mean come one if honda can do it then so can toyota.

You know whats funny ........we see the problem .....and they dont....or maybe they see the problem and refuse to do anything about it because of ether.... they think its just a passing fad.... OR because of goverment mandate's for the future....

Even if they make a Supra EXACTLY like the 93-98 years and call it a 2005 i would still buy one HAHAH.
