surging idle

hi guys, i have an 88' gt. still has the air density intake no maf. at idle when the car is cold the idle surges. it also stalls the first time i turn it over in the cold too. other than that it runs good. what could this be.

Could be a few different things. Is your car stock or modded? When did it start this problem?

the car is mainly stock, just has shorty headers, catless xpipe, and flowmaster mufflers. also has cold air intake. i just got the car maybe 3 weeks ago and it has been doing it ever sense.

clean out your throttle body, that might help.
