HELP - fuel injector / fuel out tailpipe

I have a 1990 Eagle Summit. Has ran perfectly until last week. Now there is fuel literally running out the tailpipe, if you catck it in something it will burn. For those wondering NO I am not driving the car. Had a cracked exhaust manifold, has been replaced & new o2 sensor. Thought maby fresh air was driving the computer crazy. Have removed & cleaned throttle body & fuel rail. Have replaced both the fuel pressure & all 4 injectors, all to no avail. I have isolated the problem to the # 2 injector wiring. Am certain of this because if you switch the wires to the # 1 injector the problem moves to it. Very easy to tell by pulling the plugs which injector is pouring the gas. All the wiring connections appear to be secure, The only thing I could find was the wires had rubbed on something and the insulation was broken. Removed some more insulation to make sure no wires were broken (none were) and rewrapped with black electrical tape. This still did not correct the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to try next? Could the insulation being gone have an effect even though it is wrapped? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

does your #2 injector work? Go to your local auto part store and get a noid light and see if the light flashes while the engine is running. If it's in the wiring, it could be a module problem.

Thanks, ended up being the ECM. Found a place in FLA rebuilds for reasonable rates. Got it back & put it in today. Runs like new.
