How do you remove the factory radio from a 2002 Ram 1500 SLT quad cab?

if that's the same dash as the 2001 you tilt the wheel down, put the trans in low(if it's auto), grab the trim panel around radio and pull it straight towards you. once the panel is off there's 2 10mm bolts holding the radio in.

:smokin: I got it out today and found it to br quite easy. The only problem I have left to solve is why the radio won't play when the ign. switch is in the ACC position I checked the factory connection at the radio and it's good. It works when the engine is running or the key in the on position. Got any ideas????

is your stereo all stock? does the radio come on in the acc position but make no sound or not come on at all? it may have a aftermarket amp hooked to the on position of the switch. your radio should have two power sources one is constant power and the other is switched if it has both i can't think of any reason why it wouldn't play.
