My 94 SL has white smoke at the exhaust whenever I let the car warm up or if I turn on the heater or A/C. I get a big cloud of smoke when I hit the gas. When I looked at my exhaust it has some kind of liquid that is dripping out, I look at and smell it but it just smells like exhaust. I can't tell if it's antifreeze or not. Everyone tells me that my problems are my headers, or head gasket. I was just hoping anybody else would have some insight to my problem.

dont worry I get the same thing with my 93, I asked someone about that once and they said its the gaskets. So i dunno its worse in the winter time than the summer for me.

White smoke means coolant or water I think, could be a number of things I guess.

Alot of people say it is white smoke when it is actually greyish. Are you burning oil?

yeah it is white and it has a kinda sweet smell to it, one of my friends told me to use a antifreeze sealant that comes in a bottle. I got some from autozone made my prestone, should I use it.

never hurts to try. Check the color of your oil also, if it's milky then you probably gotta replace your head gasket.
