im looking at some control arms from Ingalls. they offer either rubber or poly bushings. what is the difference? (besides the material or course)

The rubber is softer and more compliant so on regular roads it will not be as rough. Also they don't/shouldn't need greasing.
Whereas the polyurethane bushings are harder and you will feel bumps more and definitely need to be greased every once in awhile unless you don't mind squeaks.

if you get graphite impregnated polyurethane bushings they tend to squeak less. alot less. i think they cost a tad bit more tho.

eveyone failed to mention that polyurethane bushings also last 10 times longer than rubber bushings. Also, since the poly's don't flex as much, they offer tighter responce and less "setting".
