Does anyone know how to put back on a sideview mirror. Someone hit mine and now it just dangles there. The electrical part works, meaning that it moves when I give it the commands from inside the car. IS there some sort of hefty super glue or something?
Thanks

My wife managed to hit a matal post with the drvers side mirror on our 96 Regal with the same results. You can't hardly drive it that way. Fortunately I had some duct tape in the trunk that she used to hold it on untill she got home.
I went to my local auto parts store and they sugested a certain super glue. Loctite Quicktite super glue Gel. It has worked well so far. Now to clean the duct tape goop off the car.

I just had mine off tonight. You have to take the inner door panel off and there is a foam insert you have to take out. Once that is out you remove three nuts (mine were 10mm) and disconnect the wirring harness. Most likely if its hanging there you will need a new mirror though.
