Which 4runner should I get?

Im looking at either the 2004 or the 2005 4runner but I don't which version to get between the SR5 and the Sport. Also which one is better for street use especially high speed and handling the v8 or v6? I will most likely be installing a supercharger on either motor later. This car is going to be used for police work, family transportation on the weekends and towing a jetski. I can't afford the Limited it is priced way past my price range. Any help would be appreciated.

Based on what you are saying you are going to do with it...especially the pulling piece, get the SR5 v8. No use getting the sports edition unless you are more into the "looks" thing. I got the v6 se 4wd, but my purpose is different from yours. Unless, you are into the gas thing with the v8s.
