Paint stripping?

Will this stuff remove Tamiya spray paint from a plastic model?
It's brake fluid SUPER DOT 4

I used none branded DOT 4 and soaked overnight. Using rubber gloves (if it's strong enough to remove paint, then it can't be good for your skin) and toothbrush I just washed all the TS spray off, as well as plastic automotive primer.. Worked a treat.

So if this is DOT 4 brake fluid I would say it will work just fine. Just leave it overnight.

I tested to remow paint with that one today and it works perfect! but i did not have any ruber gloves so i took plastic bags.. :P

Thanks alot guys. I have a small peice soaking at the moment to see how it goes. If it works like you say i will be very pleased. Sanding is a pain, and usually removes too much detail aswell. This could be the miracle i've been waiting for.

Its goood stuf ;) But i had to sand the body afterwards because the paint had made smal craks in the body.

Keep the brake fluid in an airtight container (A food container big enough for the body is good), otherwise it loses it's strength over time, and doesn't strip as well. Only open it to put the model in or take it out.

If you have an airbrush, blast the body with alcohol or even water over a bucket, to get rid of the paint more easily. If you don't have one, a cheap spray bottle will work almost as well.
