talon emblem

I just purchased a 1992 eagle talon 2 days ago. I look at the front of my car this morning and I noticed that the emblem is gone. Does the emblem have a history of just falling off or is it more likely someone decided to steal it? Is the emblem expensive, and would I have to go to a junk yard to get one?
