89 cherokee hesitation problems

I have an 89 cherokee 4.0 and I am having problems with low rpm hesitation. IT happens when i am under 2000 rmps and when trying to acceleration lightly or going up hills. Also have noticed some power loss.
I have changed the fuel pump and filter. Also changed the cap and rotor and plugs and plug wires and the o2 sensor. It ran good for about an hour then started doing it again. I have als replaced the tps and still no change. I have also cleaned the cvc system.When it is at idle and you gun the gas it backfires through the throttle body. I gusse I am going to have the try the egr system next and the maby the map sensor. ANY HELP would be great.

Sounds like timing, check your crankposition sensor. YOu can do this with a digital meter, haynse should have the specs. The EGR, just unplug the valve see if the problem goes away.
