One of the Aston Martin DBR9s beat the new Corvette C6-Rs. It was a great race to see on SPEED tv. It was the first Aston Martin to win the 12 Hours of Sebring since 1956.

Dry-sump oil reservoir. It holds the engine's eight or so quarts of oil. A dry-sump lubrication system allows the engine to be mounted lower in the chassis than a normal wet-sump lubrication system. It also is safer for the engine due to the fact that the oil doesn't get pushed around.
