Elecetrical fun

Like a fool, I lent my truck to a friend. when he gave it back, i did not drive it until follwoing day. it made a fast clicking sound when i turned my key. i stopped and then turned the key again, clicked fast and then started. I though maybe he had left a light on or something and drove it around all day. later that night it would not start and gave the flast click. I jumped it drove home and then though it was the battery. replaced and then it died with 1/2 mile. thought might be alternator, changed that out and newly charged battery and alternator, the truck won't even get any power to accessories (lights, radio, windows, etc) and very dim light is noticed on verdrive light. not sure what to look for at this point, no power but fresh battery (charged) and new alternator. anyone have any thoughts?

check the point were the positive cable connects to the starter solenoid check for good connection between that group of wire that meet there and at the battery also check your ground side
