i was looking into getting a body lift for my '98 jimmy and one of the only ones i found was $198.99. i thought that was kind of high and wondered if all lifts are that expensive so i looked up one for a jeep wrangler on the same website and it was $92.99. what makes mine so much more expensive? are there extra parts or additional work put into making mine?
p.s. both lifts were 2'' body lifts

<edit>
i found a 2'' suspension lift from superlift for my jimmy so my question is: is a suspension lift worth the money spent on it if it's only 2''? (the price tag is $715.37, which includes front kit, rear shackle kit, add-a-leaf kit, and 4 shocks)

yes, the blazer and the wrangler are radically different for body lifts. Body lifts for second gen trucks are 180-200 bux.

Stay away from anything but a trailmaster 5" suspension lift as that is the only one that keeps the suspension at its stock geometry, otherwise you will be blowing cv shafts and u-joints like you change underwear.

good thing to know, but what is it about the 5'' trailmaster that makes its geometry just like it is stock? just so you know, i'm not trying to be difficult, i'm just trying to learn :)
