My husband replaced the fuel pump in our Escort but in the process tripped the fuel pump relay. He had to buy another relay because since it was tripped there is no way to reset it. The only problem now is where is the fuel pump relay located on the vehicle so he can put the new one in??? If anyone can help us it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The fuel pump relay will 'reset' itself when you turn the key off and on.
If there is no power to the fuel pump it may be a fuse or the fuel shut-off switch needs resetting. It's located in the trunk area behind the plastic side covers You will see a round plug. Take out the plug, and the switch has a reset button on top, push it down.

He already did that(everything that you stated) and that was not the problem. He did find out that the pump relay is behind the dash but hasn't found it yet so he hasn' put the new relay in to see if that fixes the problem.
