Instead of doing a complete flush and all, today at work we had some "throw away" returns (prestone 50/50) that i utilized in my car. A buddy of mine took the time out on his lunch break to pull the lower radiator hose off...drain out the old brownish fluid..and refilled with new 50/50..
Is that ok..? or should i do another "complete" flush in a week..lol, i'm gonna cover my bud's lunch tomorrow..

If he pulled the lower hose, chances are a good part of the block drained as well. I would run it for a while and check the color of it in like a week. If its still green, drive it for another five years like that :)

Thanks man, so far so good. Curtis, i got to thank you also for recomending me that engine flush stuff..in the silver can. Today i got paid (f*ck yeah..lol) and was to antzy to wait and change my own oil, so i went to avis with this can which is by a company K&W..called motor flush and watched them perform the oil change.
I made sure to follow the directions...run for 5mins at idle, shut car, drain etc.. They even ran 5w30 through the block to completely flush it..Then i had them put 10w30 in. My oil looks amazing, hopefully in a month it wont be black, like how it used to be.
