I have a 91 Ford Probe LX and I was wondering how easy it would be to change a radiator or would it just be easier to bring it to a mechanic to have it done? I don't have any type of lift so I would basically just be replacing it on ground level. Would that be possible? Thanks.

I did it at ground level it actaully alot easier than everyone thinks. AND a hell of alot cheaper than a mechanic.
Just:
Drain your fluid, remove hoses, undo radiator clips, and fan, take it out put a new 1 in and hook it all back up. It took me about an hour and a half by myself and on ground level, and it was my first time 2.

If you change the radiator, do yourself a favor and get new hoses while you are at it. I didn't and had one bust on me while driving......not fun!

your old hoses should be ok, but he's right it might be good to upgrade just incase, but if your tight on cash you'll be fine.
