how hard is it to install keyless entry and a remote starter

I have a 1992 4x4 blazer with power windows and locks, I have good wiring skills, and know how to user a voltimeter, and I wanna know how hard it would be to install keyless entry and keyless start up?

You would have to buy a kit and read the instructions.
Wiring skills and using a voltmeter won't be the real problem.
Reading a electronic wiring schematic is where it is at.

good I am a third year computer science student, so I have taken electricity classes, so diagrams shouldnt be a prob, any kits you can recommend?

i have a CODE alarm/remot start and love it, keep away from cheep ones, they will fry your computer out, it is a labor intenceive job, i didnt do it myselfe, but it took 2 prfessional installers 6 hours to do, i do have a 98 pu which is obdII and your doing it on obdI, so ide imageing its a bit easyer

actually I saw sumthing about this on a DIY show. Compared to the electronic work I have done its not that bad. The wires are pretty thick and easy to wrok with.

I just did a Python remote start/alarm combo for a guy this morning in a '93 S-10. I had it done and working great in about 1.5hours. These older S-10's are cake. Just take your time and look over all the info. I recomend about anything from DEI except BOA. Also, hook up a mercury tilt switch for the hood. They work much better than the cheapo pin switch they come with.
