My car is leaking antifreeze, I forst thought it was the radiator, so repalced it, plus it was cheap only $180, new with lifetime warranty, I also bought the new radiator hose that goes from the engine to the radiator. The problem was fixed, on monday morning as I am getting ready to get to the car I noticed a puddle of antifreeze, i though it was from the old one , so i went to work and when i got out there was a large puddle, i checked the hood and the antifreeze from the pump was all gone, so i pour more and as im driving to get home,I noticed smoke was coming out so I pull over and i get out "i automatically thought my water pump broke, so i open the hood and no smoke came out!" and i still had antifreeze, so i get back in my car and drive off as im driving i see smoke again , i stop and get out to see that the car was smoking from the passingers side at the BOTTOM!! I got home parked the car and smoke was coming out of the vents,, but I never turned on my heater (plus the car is parked and turned OFF!!) PLEASE, HELP ME TO FIGURE OUT WHAT' S WRONG WITH MY CAR???? I AM WILLING TO PAY $50 THANKS EMIAL@ [email protected] with ur info.

Have you checked the heater core hoses for leaks and or the heater core itself for a cracked tubing that protrudes into the engine compartment? :eek7:

Steam out the vents definitely sounds like a heater core like to me too. Depending on the year of your car it could be a very easy fix. If it's a 77-90 the heater core is located under the hood and cam be replaced in about 30 minutes.

ya if you have been smelling a real sweet smell or a hasing on the front window this defantly sounds like a heater core problem. This is not a hard fix just a time consuming most likely being inside your dash. keep us posted
